Cartridge Full
In the event your cartridge becomes full, you can:
- set the cartridge aside and use the cartridge for restoring your files and purchase more cartridges.
- erase the cartridge and use the cartridge again (Note: erasing the cartridge will erase all files that you stored onto the cartridge).
If your cartridge becomes full or nearly full you can set the cartridge aside for archival purposes and use it solely to restore files. You may wish to set the write protect tab of the cartridge to the lock position to prevent accidental overwriting of the cartridge. Since you have set the cartridge aside, you may need to purchase a cartridge. A link to a web site where a cartridge can be purchased has been placed in the Cartridge page (below the Free Space Trend). You can also see Cartridge Capacity for a link to a web site to purchase a cartridge.
A cartridge can be erased at any time and re-used for storing data from your protection plans. When a cartridge is erased all data stored on the cartridge is removed and you will not be able to restore data from the erased cartridge. The procedure for erasing a cartridge is explained in Cartridge Utilities.
